1. HCI Flappy Bird AI Olympics

The very first Flappy Bird AI Olympics took place on the 29th January 2020 during the exercise on Human Computer Interaction. Ten students let their AIs compete against each other to determine three winners.

The DecoChrom Workshop will be held in the context of the HCI course as lab exercise. Prof. Löchtefeld will introduce the students of the HCI course at the 20th and 22nd of November how flexible electrochromic displays can be produced.

Body Reaction as Password

Forgot your password? Everyone probably knows that. Authenticating yourself by fingerprint or iris scan is a practical alternative. But biometric procedures also have disadvantages, because body characteristics cannot be changed and you show them publicly. The Software Technology Institute paluno of the UDE is researching a new approach that combines biometrics and password protection. Brain-Computer-Interface Hackathon

The Human Computer Interface group organized a Brain-Computer-Interface Hackathon in collaboration with G.tec company (BCI producer from Graz) and the German University in Cairo. The Hackathon was held on July 1-4 within the context of the DAAD project ComIC.
